Window of The World Shenzhen – Travel Around the World in One Day
November 24, 2018
Located beside Shenzhen Happy Valley in Overseas Chinese Town (OCT), the Window of the World is one of the most well-known and highly visited attractions in Shenzhen. This theme park does not feature any rides but boasts numerous photography spots. A strong emphasis is placed on the theme of world culture hence, you will find replicas of world-famous landscape, natural scenery, and performances of folk customs and folk songs and dances. Are you excited about visiting the whole world within a day?
Window of the World features structures and replicas that are built according to the ratios of 1:1, 1:5 or 1:15. You’ll enter the theme park through the China Gate, and after passing the Global Arena of the World Square, you will be greeted by the Eiffel Tower.

We took a left turn and arrived in the Asia region. To our surprise, we were able to find a replica of Singapore’s Merlion. The miniature sized Borobudur Temple, Angkor Wat, Shwedagon Pagoda, Taj Mahal, and other structures look so real. However, the Borobudur Temple is too perfectly completed at Window of the World. I just visited the actual site in Yogyakarta a few months ago, and noticed that some parts of the temple were destroyed.

Moving on, the Europe region consists L’Arc de Triomphe in France, the windmills of the Netherlands, Barcelona’s Parc Guell, St. Mark’s Square in Venice, and many others. The theme park is so huge that you need to walk for quite a distance before arriving at the Pyramids of Giza and the Niagara Falls.

Make sure your camera battery is fully charged before heading to Window of the World. Besides phototaking, you can experience winter and snow at the Alps Ice and Snow World. There are also other fun activities to do at the theme park. It is a great place to visit with your family, especially if you have young children. There is so much to see, and while you are learning about the world’s culture and geography, you can educate your kids too.
