‘Tis The Season to be Jolly at Wangz Hotel – Enjoy Complimentary Perks When You Book The Festive Package

If you’ve been following my travel adventures, you might have come across my review on Wangz Hotel’s “Unwind with Wangz” staycation package that I’ve written a few months ago. This time round, the hotel invited me to experience their Festive Package. I’m pretty sure for most of us, our eyes light up whenever we see the word, “complimentary” when booking staycations, right? Check out the following 5 perks you’ll get to enjoy when you book the Festive Package with Wangz Hotel.

#1 – Complimentary High Speed Wireless Internet Access and Complimentary Local Calls

The Canopy Room measures between 32 to 36 square metres, and is accented by soft palettes of soothing tones and punctuated by specially commissioned artwork. Selected rooms also include a bathtub for guests to relax in. The complimentary high speed wireless internet makes it so convenient to communicate with loved ones, especially for overseas guests. Furthermore, if there’s a local Michelin-starred restaurant you really want to try, you can make use of the complimentary local calls to make a reservation.

#2 – Complimentary Festive Platter

Usually, guests will have to pay for the consumption of snacks and beverages from the in-room mini bar. However, our Festive Package includes complimentary white chocolate ganache, Christmas cookies, chocolate brownies, butterscotch popcorn, nachos with mango salsa and a fancy homemade iced tea. It’s wonderful when you get to snack while watching a movie or your favourite tv programme in the room, isn’t it?

#3 – Complimentary Tiong Bahru Heritage Tours 

Tiong Bahru is one of the oldest housing estates in Singapore, and the rows of shophouses are now lined with hipster cafes, colourful wall murals depicting life in the past and interesting boutiques. You’ll get to experience how Singapore has smartly preserved our heritage even while keeping up with modern times. The tours are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10.30am. Please remember to make prior reservations.

#4 – Complimentary Continental Breakfast and 20% Dining Privilege at Upper Place Rooftop Restaurant

Situated on the rooftop of the hotel, the Upper Place restaurant features al fresco and indoor dining. I love being greeted by vibrant blooms amidst the lush greenery outdoors first thing in the morning. Complimentary continental breakfast is served daily for one person for single occupancy and for two persons for double or twin occupancy. Breakfast is also complimentary for children below 12 years old.

Moreover, the Festive Package entitles you to 20% dining privileges. The restaurant transforms itself into a dating venue in the evening where you can enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner with your significant other. The space is also great for a gathering with friends and family. Look forward to savouring European comfort food while taking in the awe-inspiring view of Singapore’s skyline.

#5 – Complimentary Shuttle Service to Outram Park MRT Station, Orchard Road and the Financial District

The hotel understands that the walk to Tiong Bahru MRT Station is pretty far, so they have a free shuttle service which brings guests to Outram Park MRT Station, Orchard Road and the Central Business District. You can find the shuttle bus schedule at the hotel lobby.

The Festive Package ($218++ SGD per room per night, double or twin) will be available for the month of December 2018. Please note that the rate is not applicable on 24 December 2018 (Christmas Eve) and 31 December 2018 (New Year Eve). Rates quoted are in Singapore Dollars, and exclusive of 10% service charge and 7% goods services tax per room per night. A full non-refundable prepayment is required at the point of reservation, and the room is subjected to availability. It’ll be nice if you could revert within 24 hours from the date of the hotel’s email offer. Any cancellations, modifications or in the event of no-shows, a penalty charge for the entire duration of stay will be applicable.

Overall, my boyfriend and I had a pleasant weekend staying at Wangz Hotel and experiencing the Festive Package. (Ps. The chocolate brownies are superb!)
