Pinus Pengger – Spectacular Attraction for Photography Enthusiasts

Pinus Pengger – Spectacular Attraction for Photography Enthusiasts

September 19, 2018

Pinus Pengger is a pine tree forest with a distinctive aroma that draws many visitors there. It features a cooling forest climate and a peaceful atmosphere, hence many visitors enjoy taking a relaxing afternoon stroll or even a weekend picnic in the area. Due to the increase in visitors, photography spots have started to pop up in the forest. Unlike in Bali where you get to pose on swings and in manmade bird’s nests, the photography spots in Yogyakarta are more unique. I’ll let the pictures do the talking in this article.

Do note that as at the point of time that I visited, there was no admission fee. You only had to pay for the parking fee of 3,000 IDR ($0.25 SGD) for motorcycles and 10,000 IDR ($0.90SGD) for cars. I’m not sure if the rangers at Pinus Pengger have started collecting admission fees, so if you have any updates, feel free to comment below and share with everyone.
