Mega Adventure Park – Get Your Adrenaline Pumping While Tackling High Obstacle Courses and Flying over Sentosa’s Siloso Beach

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
– Neale Donald Walsch
Stepping out of my comfort zone and trying new things is the best way for me to grow. I’ve always been afraid of heights even though I’ve tried many high obstacle courses and ziplines around the world. At the Mega Adventure Park, I got a chance to challenge myself and confront my fear of heights again.

Situated in Sentosa, the Mega Adventure Park is home to Asia’a number 1 zipline. A recipient of TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Award 2019 and Certificate of Excellence for 6 consecutive years, the Mega Adventure Park operates the MegaZip. The MegaZip combines adrenaline, speed and fun to let you fly like an eagle. At 75 metres high, 450 metres long and a heart pounding speed of 60kph, the MegaZip is the first 3 wire zip line built to test friendships as you race your friends or family in an exhilarating, breathtaking adventure from the jungle canopy of Imbiah Hill to the white sands of Siloso Beach finish point.

Furthermore, there are 3 additional activities namely, the MegaClimb, the MegaJump and the MegaBounce which are suitable for the entire family. The MegaClimb is Singapore’s premiere high ropes adventure course. 5 metres to 15 metres high Eucalyptus trees create a formidable course in the jungle hilltops of Sentosa. The views are stunning, the thrills are endless and the well-trained staff ensure that the experience is safe, efficient and highly addictive. You can choose to tackle 2 out of 3 levels.
Thrill-seekers can go for the MegaJump. This activity replicates a free-fall parachute jump – without the plane ride. It’s a 15-metre drop down. Clockwork efficiency by the experienced staff and a custom-made safety wire and harness developed in the UK makes this a first for Singapore. My companion, Jonathan, managed to complete this jump, but I chickened out at the leap point.
Last but not least, located on Siloso Beach by the Mega Adventure Park ticketing counter, the MegaBounce is the perfect activity to entertain the kids and give them their very own Mega Adventure. They can test their acrobatics on the dynamic bungee assisted trampolines and bounce up to 8 metres high on any of the 4 trampolines on the beach with the instructors and harnesses ensuring safety throughout.
If you’re looking for an exciting activity to do over the weekend in Singapore, you can consider heading to the Mega Adventure Park. Although I freaked out while tackling all the activities, I’m glad I’ve experienced the Mega Adventures.
