Lloyd’s Inn – Enjoy A High Level of Privacy In The Vicinity Of Orchard Road

Lloyd’s Inn is a tastefully decorated accommodation in Singapore with a minimalist meets nature theme. This beautiful lodging provides travellers a level of privacy nearly unheard of in today’s ever-expanding urban climate. However, it is still conveniently located near amenities and transportation. Lloyd’s Inn is less than 10 minutes walk to Singapore’s popular shopping street, Orchard Road. You will find an abundant selection of stores and restaurants, and a movie theatre.

There is a total of 34 rooms and suites available at Lloyd’s Inn, with 8 types of specifically designed rooms. Each type captures the relationship with nature in different ways. We were hosted to a 2D1N staycation in The Patio Suite which features a private deck with an outdoor dining area. This is a great room for a getaway in the luxury of privacy. We enjoyed pampering ourselves in the luxurious bathtub after a full day of shopping along Orchard Road.

Not a shopaholic and just looking to unwind at Lloyd’s Inn? We recommend lounging at the garden deck and relaxing in the dipping pool. This area is surrounded by lush tropical foliage, and it’s a wonderful place for you to soak up every bit of the holiday sunshine. There’s an outdoor pantry with a microwave, water and ice dispenser, coffee machine, and vending machines. Linger and mingle here if you are a solo traveller, and who knows? You might make a new friend over a shared breakfast, lunch or dinner. Catch the golden hour on the roof terrace, and you can star gaze while sipping your own cocktails, juice, or any beverages.

There isn’t a café or restaurant at Lloyd’s Inn but complimentary breakfast is offered at either Killiney Kopitiam or Freshly Baked Café which are both a stone’s throw away from the hotel. Breakfast vouchers will be given to guests upon check-in. If you want to have a taste of Singapore’s traditional breakfast, Killiney Kopitiam serves a set of delicious and authentic kaya toast with soft-boiled eggs and a coffee or tea. For something which suits the Western palate, Freshly Baked Café serves sandwiches and brunch sets with a local twist.

It was an incredible and cosy 2D1N experience at the Lloyd’s Inn. We liked that this hotel features a touch of nature in the heart of an urban cityscape. Plus, it is conveniently located in the famed Orchard Road precinct. We would highly recommend this place for travellers whether you are visiting Singapore for work or leisure.
