Canvas Escape Spa – Relax, Renew & Refresh Yourself with Canvas Signature Treatments

Canvas Escape Spa – Relax, Renew & Refresh Yourself with Canvas Signature Treatments

October 17, 2018

Located in the heart of Ubud, Canvas Escape Spa offers a collection of signature treatments with timeless traditional methods which complement with revitalizing ingredients under the great care of their expert therapists. The therapists were trained by a senior and professional massage therapist who used to work at Montigo Resorts – which explains why I felt that the standard of the masseurs at Canvas Escape Spa were exceptional.

Do you know that UBUD means medicine? In line with this theme, Canvas Escape Spa advocates using only the most natural and freshest plants for natural healing. They only use organic herbs harvested in their compound to create their signature products. They offer signature treatments in a peaceful and tranquil environment designed to soothe the mind and body, and help you look and feel your best. You can choose any scent from their series of aromatherapy blends carefully tailored for varying purposes; heal, rejuvenate or refresh.

My friend and I felt pampered and relaxed from the moment we entered the spa. The dedicated therapists served us the Canvas signature welcome drink, and provided us with a cold, aromatic towel upon arrival. We were pretty surprised when the therapists washed our feet because the common practice elsewhere only includes washing our feet (literally) but at Canvas Escape Spa, a neck and shoulder massage is included too. You’ll be surrounded by elemental nature aromas to enliven the senses and enhance your spa experience.

We tried the Canvas Signature 90 Minutes Massage (380,000 IDR). This customized massage experience is based on your specific needs, combined with a concoction of herbs and special massage techniques to relieve tension, induce relaxation and increase blood circulation. The treatment rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated with art pieces, and we could hear the soft sounds of water flowing from the water feature outside the rooms. The atmosphere was serene and it felt very calming. After our treatment ended, we were so pleased by the standard of the masseurs and decided to do another massage the night before returning to Singapore.

There are other massages like foot reflexology, stone massage and 20 fingers massage available too. You will also be able to find facials, body scrubs, body polish/wraps, manicure, pedicure and different kinds of luxurious baths on the spa menu. Canvas Escape Spa provides a holistic experience for those who are seeking to relax, renew and refresh yourselves in Bali.
