Photo opportunities are abundant with the cabin’s 360° panoramic windows. Take in the incredible views while your ride takes you from Faber Peak, Singapore’s only hilltop destination, to over 20 attractions in Sentosa.

Not only do you get to see many attractions while on the cable car, the ride also saves you time and effort getting around Sentosa as compared to taking the bus or monorail. Instead of rushing around due to a packed itinerary, you can squeeze all that you want to see within one cable car ride. Doesn’t this sound good? Dining on Cloud 9

A return trip on the Mount Faber Line takes approximately 30 minutes, but it is too short for you to enjoy the spectacular views from above as you might be too busy ‘feeding’ your camera with photos. I would recommend pampering your special one with a sky dining experience, only available at Faber Peak! Indeed, this intimate dining experience can only be found here, in all of Asia.

Cozy up in your very own private cable car cabin and savour a 4-course dinner, as you take in the spectacular Singapore skyline with the sun setting in the backdrop, casting an orange hue across the horizon. You can watch the city lights up against the romantic night sky.

Our 4-course dinner in a standard cabin costs $288++ per couple. The dinner is spread over 3 rounds on the cable car, taking approximately 90 minutes. We were first served a welcome drink (either mocktail or champagne) at the boarding area on Faber Peak before getting into the cable car at 6pm. The first round includes starters such as Chilled King Prawn served with mesclun, salmon roe, and mango raspberry dressing, and Warm Brew-Shellfish Consommé with seafood wrapped with long cabbage.

The second round allows you a choice between Char Grilled Angus Beef Sirloin and Almond Crusted Chilean Sea Bass for your main course. The former is served with mashed potato, mushroom ragout, and thyme ju. Both my partner and I preferred the latter which is served with edamame puree, baby vegetables, haricot beans, and carrot basil cream. It was light on the palate, yet still very flavourful. The almond crust gave the tender fish flesh a nice crunch. Pair your mains with a glass of red or white wine for that perfect finish!

As the sun sets deeper into the horizon, the ambience gets increasingly romantic, and our meal gets better. The third round which presents you with the Cheese Mousse with Wild Berry Compote dessert, and your choice of freshly brewed coffee or tea, hits all the sweet spots. The mix of sweet and tangy flavours ends our meal on a good note. You will also be gifted with a box of chocolates, simply delightful!

Here’s a piece of good news for guys who want to plan the ultimate surprise for your girlfriend – a specially designed, floral decorated cabin can be organized for an intimate celebration with a loved one onboard. You can create your very own garden in the sky to pop the question, celebrate special occasions, or simply show someone how much you love them. A 4-course dinner in a floral cabin costs $488++ per couple, while a regular cabin goes at $288++ per couple.

Wings of Time

After a fulfilling dinner in the cable car, we continued our exciting date night in Sentosa. Let your imagination take flight, and be enthralled by Singapore’s award-winning outdoor night show that combines an awe-inspiring display of water, laser, and fire effects, set to an original music score against a panorama of breath-taking vistas. Join Shahbaz, a mystical pre-historic bird, and his friends, as they travel across beautiful landscapes and journey through the mysteries of time. This timeless story of friendship and discovery is perfect for everyone!

The show runs for approximately 20 minutes, and you can grab some snacks from the Show Bites stall located just outside the show venue. The stall offers a variety of delicious snacks such as jumbo hot dog, crispy chicken, calamari, nachos, and more. Great place to pop by, especially when you’re with your kids! You can indulge in the snacks while enjoying the show.

You can fly, play, and dine at Faber Peak Singapore, and at the Sentosa attractions.
