Aqueen Heritage Hotel Little India – Discover One of Singapore’s Cultural Neighbourhoods
March 06, 2019

Aqueen Heritage Hotel Little India is situated in the heart of Little India, one of the most culturally vibrant locations in Singapore. This is a prime spot for guests interested in immersing themselves in the local culture. To explore all that the city-state can offer, the Little India MRT Station is just four minutes’ walk away, with direct access to the Central Business District, Singapore’s prime shopping belt in Orchard Road, and other fascinating cultural and entertainment areas.
My friend and I enjoyed an overnight stay in their cosy and clean room. It has one of the strongest air-conditioning we’ve ever experienced in a hotel. What we liked most about the hotel is the carefully thought out wall murals along the corridor on every floor. The wall murals showcase Singapore’s local culture and the Little India neighbourhood. The location of the hotel is near Little India’s major attractions, yet far enough from the rowdy crowd and bustling activities. Hence, we were able to rest and relax peacefully.
Aqueen Heritage Hotel Little India is an ideal starting point to discover the gems of this neighbourhood. The colourful Tan Teng Niah House, Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, and numerous street art are of walking distance from the hotel. You can also try local Indian cuisine such as the Chicken Briyani at Tekka Market, or Indian fast food from Komala Vilas. Souvenir shopping can be done at the Little India Arcade or Mustafa. If you don’t mind walking further, you can get to the City Square Mall.
Looking for a clean and comfortable accommodation in Singapore’s cultural neighbourhood that’s affordable and conveniently located? You should totally consider Aqueen Heritage Hotel Little India.
