Greenhouse – Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore’s Amazing All-Day Dining Restaurant

Embark on an exciting culinary journey at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, the fascinating luxury urban golf resort in the East. Indulge in a rich diversity of cuisines, indoor or outdoor, surrounded by the tranquility of mother nature and served with traditional Thai elegance. During our staycation, Jayden and I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Greenhouse restaurant.

Upon entering the Greenhouse restaurant, we were awed by the impressive architecture and lush, forest-themed interior design. You can look forward to enjoying a picturesque view over the Masters Course while you savour a delicious plethora of authentic, multi-ethnic cuisine served from five show kitchens, available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This all-day dining restaurant takes your taste buds on an adventure, featuring different food cultures, such as delectable Royal Thai delicacies, Japanese cuisine, traditional Indian Tandoor, Mediterranean dishes from the pizza-oven, Chinese specialties, a sumptuous seafood spread and charcuterie.

The a la carte breakfast includes a good mix of sweet and savoury items. There are cereals, yoghurts and dishes marked with the “Dusit Balance” icon if you prefer starting your day on a healthier note. For those with a sweet tooth, go for the lemon matcha pancakes with blueberries, honey and crème fraîche, Belgian waffles with chocolate sauce and maple syrup or the French brioche toast with cinnamon sugar and fresh strawberries.

Need a more substantial feast to start the day? Pair the selection of international cheese with the charcuterie plate which features smoked turkey, iberico ham, kurobuta pork ham and air dried beef. Fried, poached, boiled and scrambled eggs are available too. You can have the eggs in the form of the spicy Thai omelette as well. Whether you’re a tourist interested in trying local breakfast favourites or a local craving for comfort food in the morning, options such as Nasi Lemak, Mee Siam, Mee Pok Tah, Dim Sum and Congee “Jok” are also prepared upon order.

Both the lunch and dinner menus are quite comprehensive, which resulted in Jayden and I feeling spoilt for choice. Since Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is a Thai brand, we decided to try the Thai dishes for lunch. The Tom Yum Going ($24) consisting spicy broth of river prawn, galangal and lemongrass is very well presented. The broth has a good balance of spicy and sour flavours and comes generously loaded with fresh and huge prawns. The Phad Thai ($25) features stir fry rice noodles with prawns or chicken and tamarind sauce. The vegetarian option is also available. With the chewy noodles, signature sweet-savoury flavour, sprinkle of peanuts and tang from lime, I can understand why this is a Thai food favourite.

We ended our lunch with the Khao Niao Mamuang ($12) – Thai mango sticky rice. Don’t forget to order Cha Yen ($8) – Paradise Thai Iced Tea – and Gafae Yen ($8) – Thai Iced Coffee – for a complete Thai meal experience.

The dinner menu at Greenhouse boasts Lava Stone Char Grilled steaks and sustainable seafood on top of the lunch menu. Jayden and I craved comfort food so we had the Risotto Carnaroli ($28) and the Porcini Mushroom Applewood Fired Pizza ($26). Each spoonful of risotto is creamy with just the right texture. The pizza delighted us with its crisp-edged crust and a distinct truffle aroma. Both dishes are totally worth the inevitable carb coma.

We shared the Durian Panna Cotta ($12) before calling it a night. What’s not to like about its delicate sweetness and smooth texture?

The Greenhouse restaurant at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is worth visiting. With such a large variety of offerings on the menu, you can always look forward to trying different dishes at this beautifully designed restaurant. Jayden and I are already planning to dine at Greenhouse restaurant again soon.
