Lanson Place Hotel Hong Kong – Treat Yourselves to a Luxurious Vacation in the Heart of Hong Kong
May 11, 2019
An urban retreat, Lanson Place Hotel Hong Kong is tucked discreetly on a quiet street just a stroll from Times Square and Hysan shopping centre. Your first sight as you pull up to the hotel is its European façade. Upon entering the hotel, the theme continues. The Leighton, at ground level, is a calming courtyard area, with cool stone surrounds and pretty greenery, where guests are invited to while away time whenever they please. An onsite concierge based at the hotel’s entrance takes care of any needs and concerns. I was pampered and spoilt by their impeccable service from the moment I stepped into the hotel.
I can think of numerous reasons to convince you to stay at Lanson Place Hotel Hong Kong, but I shall not bore you with words. Therefore, I’ve summarised the top 5 most important reasons to help you decide whether or not you should stay at Lanson Place Hotel Hong Kong.
#1 – The Elegant and Comfortable Grand Luxe Room Features Notable Design Innovations

The Grand Luxe Room is spacious and great for two persons. There’s a bedroom, a living room, the kitchen area and the bathroom. The Mounted revolving LCD iPTV makes viewing possible from either the living room or bedroom. There is a good variety of channels and movies you can watch. Not many hotel rooms have a fully equipped kitchenette in Hong Kong, but the rooms and suites at Lanson Place Hotel Hong Kong have it all. There’s a docking station compatible with all smart devices, and you can charge up to four devices at a time. I find it very useful since I have the DSLR, a drone, a GoPro, laptop and other devices that require daily charging. Furthermore, there’s a socket inside the safe deposit box, so if you’re heading out, you can be assured that your laptop is securely locked up and charging in the safe.
#2 – Eco-Friendly Hotel

The bath amenities are by Australia’s Appelles – a brand offering a collection of skincare products which contain essential oils that are selected for their beneficial nature, as well as their sensorial effect. Packaging is environmentally friendly and recyclable, with a focus on environmental impact and social consciousness. This is aligned to the hotel’s “Go Green” initiative, and I’m very supportive of their efforts to protect the environment.
#3 – 133 Lounge and Library

Although there isn’t any restaurant in the hotel, you can relax and unwind after a long day in the 133 Lounge and Library. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails with live jazz music are available daily. This space is totally picturesque.
The whimsical blown glass lights are from the island of Murano in Venice. These impossibly graceful fixtures brilliantly illuminate the lounge. Impressive artworks acquired from all over the world are displayed on the walls of the lounge. If you take a closer look at the colours of the lights, artworks and furniture, you’ll realise that the colours change gradually from one end of the lounge to the other. The architect designed the lounge to reflect the different times of a day, from morning to night, so depending on your mood, you can choose to sit at whichever area you desire. There’s a mini library with specially selected books at the lounge. This is great for rainy days, as you can cosy up in a corner and enjoy reading.
The 133 Lounge is a wonderful alternative for business meetings or catching up with friends. You don’t have to hold the meetings in your hotel room or worry about your friends making a mess in your room.
#4 – Other Hotel Facilities

The hotel also houses a well-appointed gym, with Techno Gym equipment and views over Victoria Park, meeting rooms, self-service launderette, and a business centre. If you’re looking to impress, try The Leighton, a spacious European-styled indoor courtyard, for a special event or launch party – there’s no other space quite like it in Hong Kong.
#5 – Convenient Location
Situated in the heart of Causeway Bay, one of the Hong Kong’s most famous business and entertainment districts, you can expect shops, malls and markets to be immediately around the hotel. There is a whole colony of cinemas, bars and restaurants serving major and minor cuisines, within walking distance. Causeway Bay MTR Station is the nearest to the hotel, and it’s just a 5 minutes’ walk from Exit F1. If you’re travelling the old-fashioned way by using the Ding Ding trams, you can just jump on outside Lanson Place Hotel Hong Kong’s front door.
Staying at Lanson Place Hotel Hong Kong has spoilt me so much, in terms of luxury comfort. It is one of my favourite Hong Kong hotels, or perhaps my favourite, at the moment. This hotel is great for friends, families and even business travellers. They are running many promotions on their website now, so be sure to check them out.
