Oscar’s Sunday Brunch – Feast to Your Heart’s Content at Conrad Centennial Singapore

Oscar’s Sunday Brunch – Feast to Your Heart’s Content at Conrad Centennial Singapore

January 30, 2021

During my recent weekend birthday staycation at Conrad Centennial Singapore, Jayden and I were treated to Oscar’s Sunday Brunch. While Jayden still went ahead to have breakfast at Oscar’s, I decided to save my stomach space for the Sunday Brunch which begins at 12pm. Please go hungry because you’ll be able to have unlimited servings of Snow Crabs, Oysters, Sashimi Platters, and various delights from around the world. Simply tell the waiters and waitresses your orders and they will personally serve the dishes to your table.

We started with the Frutti Di Mare Platter featuring oysters, snow crabs, poached prawns and mussels, the Sashimi Platter consisting tuna, salmon and octopus and the Sushi Platter which includes California roll and salmon nigiri. Plant-based and wellness options like Whipped Burrata and Roma Tomatoes and Hummus, Labneh and Baba Ganoush are available too.

Chef Alex Siah prepared mouthwatering lobsters for us – they were amazing – and YES! You can indulge in freshly prepared lobsters at Oscar’s Sunday Brunch!

Don’t miss out on Oscar’s Signatures such as Oscar’s Laksa, Prawn Noodle Soup, Muar Otah-otah Pocket Bun and Impossible Meat. You can also order items that are crafted for sharing – the Norwegian Smoked Salmon Tartine served with House-made Sourdough, the Nashville Hot Chicken Burger and the Classic French Toast, just to name a few.

There’s a wide variety of Western Comforts and Local Flavours. The former includes classic spaghetti carbonara, roast striploin with peppercorn jus, duck confit, and sakura chicken roulade among many others. The latter features Singapore chilli crab, pork pongteh and steamed rice, dry bak kut teh, Asian roast platter, and others.

If piping hot and aromatic spices gets your heart racing, then venture into the Braised Bullfrogs Porridge with Ginger Garlic Scallions and Mutter Paneer with Garlic Butter Naan.

Remember to leave some stomach space for desserts! The Classic Crème Brûlée and Pandan Kopi ‘O’ Tiramisu topped with generous Milo Powder are highly recommended. When Jayden and I were about to leave Oscar’s, the team surprised me with a birthday cake. I’m grateful to Chef Alex and the entire team at Oscar’s for leaving me with such an unforgettable dining experience.

Nothing beings people together like good food, right? Reserve a table at Oscar’s Sunday Brunch with your family, friends or colleagues and savour tasty dishes while catching up on one another’s life.
